The Carmel Region has been devastated by fire. The flames destroyed countless lives, land, communities, and thousands of acres of national forests. Numerous organizations have launched fundraising efforts to alleviate the suffering of those in need by providing food, shelter and other basic necessities. Some have begun to purchase supplies so that such a disaster can never happen again. The regeneration of the once-forested areas has already begun, both naturally and through the planting of new species of trees that will allow the area to prosper in the coming seasons.
We at The IFF seek to direct funds towards new projects in the region that will encourage a positive relationship between residents, tourists, and the natural landscapes of Israel. Your contributions will aid in the development and implementation of innovative ideas that build an atmosphere of co-habitation and foster a sense of respect for our environment, our wildlife, and our responsibility to protect Israel’s geographical and ecological heritage and legacy.
